Home for the Holidays begins November 12th and runs until December 24th! The Spring Preservation League and it's partners join efforts to present a spectacular Christmas festival in the heart of Old Town Spring .
Old Town Spring celebrates it 31st Annual Home For The Holidays Festival with a whole new flare. This year we have added a display of thousands of lights to our towering trees and quaint buildings to accent the addition of the Be An Angel Fund Train and our beautiful horse drawn Carriage Rides. Streets are filled with sounds of the Holidays as each weekend live entertainers perform on the stage as well as strolling the streets.
Complimentary balloons and candy canes are handed out to remind you to visit Mr. & Mrs. Santa in their house and have your photo taken.
Merchants in town all put on their best face and decorate the shops. Look for special sales and mini attractions each weekend.
We will be sponsoring a Toy Drive for the Be An Angel Fund, and Supporting our U.S. Troops through the Marine Moms, and Wreaths Across America.
A train offers rides to children and adults and benefits the Be An Angel Fund.
Wreaths Across America, Marine Moms and others collect needed items for our troops.
The purpose for this event is to build the shopping experience for the merchants and customers in town and add to the community spirit during the holidays.

During this time of year we all begin thinking about all the loved ones that are stationed overseas or here in the states. As such we all have this genuine desire to mobilize and do something to help make their lives better. The Houston Marine Moms are doing just that. By the end of October we have already sent out Thanksgiving packages and by the middle of
November we have sent out even more for Christmas. Our two largest of the year.
YOU can help us now with RE-STOCKING our shelves for the year to come!! The Houston Marine Moms send packages all during the year. We are always in need of supplies and money to help defray the costs of shipping. THIS IS WHERE YOU CAN HELP! BRING YOUR DONATIONS TO OUR BOOTH IN OLD TOWN SPRING.
We get so many thank you letters from the men and women that have received packages we have sent ach year. This is so rewarding for us, however without the community's continued support we would not be able to do this! We are so thankful for the support we are given by caring members of our community. THANK YOU.
Some of the food items most requested by our troops are shown below. Small individual packets or cans are requested for ease in transporting on missions. (no cans with pull tops)

Petting Zoo & Pony Rides!
Exotic animal petting zoo and pony rides, featuring Buffalo Bill, the World's only miniature American Bison, as well as baby animals, alpacas, mini goats, donkeys, and a camel.
Tues. – Sun. 10am- 5pm except Sun. noon till 5 until Christmas . Yes during the week! The petting zoo is FREE if you want to feed it is $1.00. Pony rides are $4.00 - Hat Trick Petting Zoo & Pony Rides

Train Hours: 11am till dark Every Sat & Sun till Christmas (and the Friday after Thanksgiving)
