Where is Spring, TX? The tiny town is 25 miles north of Houston and 200 miles south of Dallas. Located in North Harris County, Spring is at the end of Spring-Cypress Road one mile east of Interstate 45 where Hardy Road crosses the railroad tracks. The core of the town is on two streets, Main and Midway and the accompanying cross streets. As a community, Spring is about 160 years old although pinpointing an exact date of settlement is difficult. Spring is built on a section of the Wiley Smith Survey.
